What To Expect At The Rock Church

The Rock is a group of people who love Jesus and love you. We are fired up about what God is doing with His church and we are excited to be a part of what He is doing in Southern Arizona.

You can expect to meet people who truly love Jesus and desire to be like Him. We are His and it is our desire to be more and more like Jesus.

You can expect authenticity through the first hand shake to the ending prayer. We are devoted to being transparent and not religious.

Authentic Worship

Our worship culture here at The Rock has one priority; to give adoration to our King. Worship isn't just a song we can sing, it is a heartfelt response, in every moment, unto the Lord. It's what we were created for. We believe that you become what you behold, and we were made in His image. How beautiful! As we worship, we become more like Him. Is that not the goal? To give Him the highest praise in the good, the bad, and the ugly! That is a lifestyle of worship!

We want our culture to be about Him and emphasize intimacy with a good, good Father. We are sons and daughters, heirs to His throne and as we worship Him with our lives, we step into deeper intimacy and identity of who He created us to be. We believe that when you step into a place where every moment is unto the Lord, that is when you experience an overflow of love, peace, joy, and everlasting life. This is where we live from, this is our worship culture.

Biblical Teaching

Biblical teaching is the basis for living a life that glorifies the Lord. We believe it is vital to read and become the Word so that we continually grow to look more and more like Jesus. The Bible tells us who we are as His saints, which equips us to live out what we are. God tells us who He is and who we are in the Word, and this knowledge leads us to be the body of Christ that Jesus died and resurrected for.
