Assimilate

On the weekend of 3.22.26, Brother Dan Curran brought a word to intercession, "assimilate." From google this term means - to fully absorb, understand, incorporate information, culture or nutrients.
When Dan had this word for the intercessors, I was reminded of terms in the Bible that don’t specifically say this word but mean the same thing to a degree. Terms such as "body," "family" and "member." Then I was reminded of the countless hours that a team of people put into the class called Discover The Rock. Discover The Rock is a class for those who are contemplating if The Rock Church is a good fit for them and their family. The class is taught by many leaders within the church, and they explain the vision of The Rock, the beliefs, and the different ministries that are available to the attendees upon completion of the class. As a result of this class, there are many people using their God-given giftings for the body of The Rock Church.
I want to thank each person that has developed Discover The Rock over the past 8 years to what it is today. I also want to thank each person that teaches in these classes to those individuals looking for a church home.
Without assimilation, the church cannot function the way God designed it to function.
1 Corinthians 12:4-7
