Building God’s House to Build His Disciples
The Rock Church has been portable since January of 2006, renting spaces from the casino to schools to the Pima Performing Arts Center in Green Valley. Starting January 2017, God called us to build a permanent ministry facility to accommodate what He wants us to do. This began the start of our “Build to Build” project. “Build to Build” means building God’s house to build His disciples. This was one way for us to accomplish the vision of The Rock and to say to the community: “We are here to stay, and we are going to be here for the years to come.”
Build to Build Timeline:
2017 - 2018
In January 2017, we began our Build to Build fundraising pledges. By December, we were ahead financially and God moved powerfully through our church with this project. By March 2018, we received approval from the county to proceed with our building plans!
2019 - 2023
In April 2019, we received our certificate of occupancy. The first service in our building was Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019! By December 2023, our building was completely paid off!
2024
We believe God wants to continue to build at The Rock! Currently, there are plans for a covered patio/playground, two more greenhouses, and chicken coops. Lastly, we have goals for a 12,000 square foot building that would accommodate the growth that is already coming to The Rock Church.

We desire to make disciples to make disciples, and to send these disciples out into Sahuarita, Tucson, Arizona, and beyond. We want to have an impact on this area for Your glory and Your honor and Your praise.
We are believing you for Heaven opened, earth invaded, storehouses unlocked, miracles created, and resources provided. Thank you, Father, that as we join with You in what You are doing at The Rock Church, You will shower favor and blessings upon us. We want to co-labor with You, God. Hallelujah and amen!"
