Are You a Sinner?

From Elder Mike Harris

ARE YOU A SINNER? OR DO YOU SOMETIMES SIN? AND IS THERE ANY DIFFERENCE?
SINNER: (a) Devoted to sin. (b) Not free from sin. (c) Pre-eminently sinful, especially wicked.
SIN: (a) To be without a share in. (b) To miss the mark. (c) To err, be mistaken. (d) To miss or wander from the path of uprightness and honor, to do or go wrong. (e) To wander from the law of God, violate God's law, sin.

SHOULD YOU BE WORRIED ABOUT THE SIN YOU DO COMMIT?
Psalms 139:23-24 - Search me, O God, ...and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Romans 5:21 - That as sin has reigned unto death, even so might grace (the divine influence upon the heart and it's reflection in the life) reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 John 2 - John says that his purpose for writing to us is so that we don't sin, and IF we sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous.
Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

IS IT POSSIBLE NOT TO SIN?
Romans 6:6-7, 11, 22
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed (to render idle, unemployed, inactive to cause a person or thing to have no further efficiency, to deprive of force, influence, power), that henceforth we should not serve sin.
For he that is dead is freed from sin.
Likewise reckon (count, compute, calculate, identify) ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
But now being made free from sin (been set at liberty from the dominion of sin), and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

2 Peter 1:3-4 - According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers (partner, associate, comrade, companion) of the DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

1 John 1:5-10 says that our sins have been forgiven and that we have been cleansed from all sin and unrighteousness. When the leper was cleansed, he was no longer a leper. Unrighteousness is moral wrongfulness of character, the predisposition to sin, sin nature. So you are no longer a sinner nor do you now have a sin nature. According to what we just read, you are now a partaker of God's DIVINE NATURE.
Are you going to believe what God has said about you, or are you going to agree with the enemy?
